There I am, on the hardwood floor, peacefully cracked,

body broken in half like my Russian dollies.

There is a man in a yellow coat

Taking the train into the desert.

Fallen

Incandescence shimmers through the thicket—fur glistening heavenly in the starlight. Canine paws imprinting on the dewing topsoil.

Six Years

You could feel my leg bouncing against

Yours. I brushed fingers with my Dream

And found it wanting;

Strange Dreams in a Goldfish Bowl

Can I go to space dressed as a fish,

Or should these dreams be left alone?

Been made a plaything of the fates
And choked with dreams
